GSM Events and Announcements
- Sunday Evenings: gsm@2828crossover -- 6th - 12th grade students meet at 2828 Crossover for Bible study and fellowship. A fellowship meal will be served on the last Sunday of the month. GSM Leaders: Josh and Katie Jenkins.
- August 6-8 - Annual GSM Lake Trip and Welcome to new 6th Graders.
As a large focus of this trip is to get away from the chaos of everyday life and to be listening for God, we have chosen a more secluded location for this year's trip. We are going to be camping on Greers Ferry Lake near a cabin belonging to my mom. We will be within walking distance of the lake, swimming area, and hiking trails. We feel like this trip is an awesome opportunity for growth in our relationships between students, their leaders, and their Lord. I personally was awed by the outcome of last year's trip and believe that this year will be even better than before. And we'll play lots of King Frog. This will also be our welcoming trip for our incoming 6th graders, and everyone is invited and encouraged to bring along friends (as is the case with ALL GSM events) The cost of this trip will be around, but no more than $40 and we will be asking once again to borrow any camping equipment (tents, tarps, coolers, etc.) as we did last year.
