Shared leadership requires a greater exercise of humble servanthood, but we believe this model reinforces our belief that everyone deserves a voice. We allow and encourage women to serve at all levels of leadership and make it a priority to have clear and adequate representation of women in leadership positions. We also do not place any restrictions on people who identify as LGBTQIA in any level of leadership and value their participation. While some members will at times have more decision making power, we create checks and balances to hold those in leadership positions accountable to the congregation through the policies and bylaws. There are two primary areas of leadership at Grace Church that are coordinated by teams in order to carry out ministry: the Leadership Council and Service Teams.
