UTTERLY AMAZED
Well friends, we’re all one week into the national emergency due to the COVID-19 virus. How y’all doing? I’m sure the answers are all over the board. And our answers say much about us — things like where we work, what personality type we have, where we gather our information. But most importantly, this is a great time to find out what we truly value. Testing has a way of making some things clear to us that we can’t see when life is easy, when nothing is asked of us. And what is testing but a time of being asked for things? Let’s dig in this week and see how Jesus handles this, and what it has to teach us, and let’s see why his answers let the crowds utterly amazed.

Opportunities to Serve
God gives purpose and opportunity in the Kingdom to each of us individually, and to our church as a faith community. Jesus set a powerful example for us of true servanthood, and we want to honor Him by loving and serving our neighbors as He would — whether they're around the block or across the country. We support and are involved with several ministries that share Jesus through action in Northwest Arkansas.
Lots of caring folks are asking about how we can help the Afghan special immigration visa holders resettling in the United States, and hopefully in our area.
For the month of September, we will be collecting items for a kitchen kit that will be stored by Canopy so it's ready to pull out as soon as families arrive. Bring your items to worship on Sundays in September and place them in the plastic bucket at the entrance.
Co-Sponsor teams will be needed to help families coming to our area. Sign up here to attend an upcoming training. If you don't have a team to be part of, you will be assigned one after training.
